The 7:30 am morning briefing is encouraging. The weather conditions have improved. Blue skies are expected throughout the day. However the snow conditions remain uncertain as the rain may have damaged the snow to relatively high altitudes.
At 9:00 am the helicopter picks up the group for another stunning flight up to boarder between the Cantons of Uri and Bern, just beside the Sustenhorn. Unfortunately, the snow conditions are disappointing and challenging, but the panorama is breath-taking.
The run down the Steigletscher to the Steisee leads to the awaiting helicopter. Bini the guide suggests a quick flight to his hometown Engelberg and a few runs down the Titlis on and off the piste.
At 4pm, another flight transfers the group to the gorgeous Villa Honegg hotel, elegantly perched in the rolling hills overlooking Lake Lucerne. 5 pm to 7pm – drinks served in the exterior thermal infinity pool overlooking the stunning views… exceptional!
